Algebra 1A and 1B Math Help and Retest Policy Mr. Cantlin's Classes - 2004-2005

Free Math Help Is Available To All! Where: Mr. Cantlin's Room When: Every Day Before School: Starting at 6:45 a.m. No appointment needed but I would appreciate you telling me the day before. Before school sessions are designed for relatively quick questions on specific topics. Normally you will use an after school or Saturday session for test review or retakes. Every Day After School: Starting at 2:53 p.m. until 4:15 p.m. (later if needed). You must have a signed parent/guardian note stating it is OK for you to stay after, who is picking you up and at what time. Every Saturday: Starting at 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. (later if needed). No appointment needed but I would appreciate you telling me the day before. The school is locked, come to the classroom window and I will let you in.

Retest Policy You can make up any test or quiz that you scored low on. You must attend two (2) help sessions -- either after school or on Saturdays as described above. The first session is to show me that you have restudied your weak areas or to get help on those areas. The second is for the retest. Retests are scored at the 92% level, for example, say you scored a 65% on the original test and you score a 100% on the retest. A 92% would go in the gradebook for that test.
