No appointment needed but I would appreciate you telling me the day before. The school is locked, tap on the the classroom window and I will let you in.

Redo Policy -- General Requirements
You can make up any test or quiz (except those at the very end of a quarterly grading period) and usually any homework assignment that you scored low on. You must attend two (2) help sessions (only one for homework)-- either after school or on Saturdays as described above. The first session is to show me that you have restudied your weak areas or to get help on those areas. The second is for the redo. Redos are normally scored at the 92% level (see details below), for example, say you scored a 65% on the original test and you score a 100% on the redo. A 92% would go in the gradebook for that test.

Redo Policy -- Schedule Requirements
  • Homework assignments must be redone within 2 weeks of the assignment due date. Redos are graded at the 92% level. Often, an additional set of problems or an alternative set of problems will be part of the redo assignment. The original homework assignment should be attached to the redo.
  • Tests/Quizzes redone within 2 weeks (of when they are graded and returned) are graded at the 92% level.
  • Tests/Quizzes redone after 2 weeks (of when they are graded and returned) are graded at the 75% level.
  • Late work due to absences will be allowed additional time per the Susan Moore Handbook with the understanding that in algebra, the sooner the work is done the better.
